Anime “Ao no Exorcist” telah mengumumkan bahwa akan dirilis pada bulan april 2011. Dan director-nya adalah Tensai Okamura yang juga director serial anime Darker Than Black.

Perusahaan produksi dari anime ini adalah A-1 Pictures yang juga menjadi produksi dari anime Sora no Wo To, Occult Academy, Black Butler dan masih banyak lagi.
